What does it mean for a seller to only be sharing their home with preapproved or cash buyers?

Answer

In traditional real estate, homes are typically opened up to anyone and everyone during tours and open houses. Sellers experience people coming into their home that are not actually able to purchase it. The process of vetting buyers does not even begin until an offer is submitted with a preapproval letter or proof of funds, which means sellers spend a lot of wasted time trying to figure out who the ready, willing, and able buyers are for their home.

At Aalto, we give sellers the option to share only with preapproved or cash buyers so that they can focus on spending their time and energy with buyers who are serious about making an offer and actually able to purchase it.
